Their ceremony had limited guests with only near and dear ones attending including her close friend Shilpa Reddy. It is a purification or refinement of the five fundamental elements – earth, air, fire, water and space – within a human system. Shilpa adds that the beauty and profoundness of the ceremony is that it allows couples to enter into a union on an elemental level, beyond physical and emotional bonding seeker a deeper foundational unity. She describes that Bhutha Shuddi Vivaha is just not limited to first-time couples but people whether previously married or already married can also opt for such a ceremony to ‘renew vows.’According to Shilpa, Bhutha Shuddi Vivaha is an energetic process and has a subtle but powerful influence on everyone present. She says that the ancient yogic tradition of Vivaha (wedding) aligns the union of a couple on an elemental, energetic and spiritual level. One can experience a deep stillness, sense of expansion and emotion at such events, she adds.                    Wedding festivities     The wedding festivities kicked off from as early as 6 am on Monday. From the floral decorations to the rituals to be performed, Shilpa gave an inside view of how a wedding at Linga Bhairavi temple at Isha Foundation looked like. Shilpa also shared the wedding gifts (Vivaha Kanukalu in Telugu) for the people who attended the event.
